showers brought localized rainfall amounts of 0.01 to 0.10 inches.
Forecast precipitation for the next 48 hours...
Two rounds of rain, one Friday and another Saturday, will bring areawide
rainfall followed by a transition to snow Sunday morning. Basin average
rainfall and/or liquid equivalent of snow is forecast to range from
0.25 to 1.00 inches with highest amounts in the Monongahela, Youghiogheny,
and Cheat Basins.
River trends...
Area rivers are forecast to remain steady or exhibit slight rises of a
couple tenths of a foot, save the Mon, Yough, and Cheat Basins where higher
rainfall totals are expected to result in rises of up to 2 feet by
Monday morning.
