EQUIPMENT
The police department has a fleet of eight police vehicles that include a marked 2008 Ford Explorer 4x4 (for K-9 usage), a 2004 Ford Explorer 4x4 (for usage in inclement weather), a marked 2003 Dodge Intrepid, a marked black and white 2010 Ford Crown Victoria, a marked black and white 2006 Chevrolet Impala Super Sport, a marked 2007 Dodge Charger, an unmarked off road-equipped 1985 Military Chevrolet Blazer and an unmarked 1989 SUV for the supervisor. The department also has a mobile command 2003 Car-Mate trailer fully equipped with onboard electronics lighting and self-contained generator and an off-the-road 2006 Can Am 800 ATV to patrol the 39 square miles of the borough.
